Day 1

You will be met in the arrivals hall of Windhoek Hosea Kutako Airport by one of our chauffeur drivers who will transfer you into town in an ATI luxury vehicle. After taking some time to shower, relax (and maybe have a quick nap), one of our representatives will meet you at your guest house or hotel around 4pm. If you’re landing late in the day, your briefing will be around 8am the following morning. Our representative will offer a thorough briefing of your whole holiday and go through your marked map, vouchers, and itinerary with you. We’re also on hand to book a restaurant for tonight, should we not have already done so.

Day 2 – 4

One of our chauffeur drivers will collect you this morning and transfer you to the airport in time to meet your pilot. Your pilot will escort you to the domestic terminal and through security to your light aircraft. Your flight will be shared with other passengers. Enjoy a beautiful flight over Namibia’s central plateau and the Naukluft Mountains, before landing near the Namib Naukluft National Park close to Sesriem & Sossusvlei.

Enjoy three nights here taking part in activities including morning & evening scenic drives, morning or afternoon E-biking, bushman walks, star bed, solitude, and the Heart & Home village tour. You may also like to take a unique hot air balloon trip for an additional fee.

Day 5 – 7

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip and flown to Twyfelfontein. Hop back on the plane for a scenic flight to Mowe Bay, in time to catch your pickup to Shipwreck Lodge.

Enjoy your time at the award-winning Shipwreck Lodge. Activities on offer include quad biking, sundowner drives, Huarusib river excursions and scenic wildlife drives. Or you may like to just put your feet up and admire the views. At Shipwreck Lodge, expect giraffe, lion, baboons, elephant, and elusive brown hyena in the dunes, whilst at the coast you’ll find hundreds of Cape fur seals at the Mowe Bay Seal Colony, and plenty of birds flitting through the chilly ocean spray.

Day 8 – 10

This morning you’ll set off on your guided 4×4 transfer/ nature drive, passing through seasonal river valleys, exploring incredible rock formations, and perhaps, if you’re lucky, desert-elephant digging for water.

Deep in north-western Namibia, the area is a melee of towering mountains, sand dunes, and huge expanses of desert, scattered with unique wildlife and nomadic Himba settlements. It’s also one of Namibia’s most remote and wild environments, and one that not many will get the chance to discover in a lifetime.

Days are spent tracking endangered rhino, desert-adapted elephant, and of course desert-adapted giraffe, before retiring to your private veranda to marvel at the magnitude of your surroundings (sundown drink in hand).
