Our Botswana Honeymoon Experience offers guests the chance to experience the best of Botswana’s vast and varied landscapes. Flying between lodges allows travellers to cover a lot of ground in a relatively short time, and this spectacular safari covers the Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta, the Savuti River and marsh region of Chobe (famous for its large elephant herds and lion prides), and the spectacular Chobe River.
Your Botswana adventure begins today when you arrive under your own arrangements at Maun Airport. From here take an inclusive light aircraft flight to Xakanaxa Airstrip for the short game drive transfer to Camp Moremi, located in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve. This part of the Delta offers prime wildlife viewing with elephant, lion, leopard, hippo, hyena, and many other species to be found. During your two nights here you will be able to experience guided game drives and motor boat cruises.
From Camp Moremi you will enjoy another scenic flight which will take you to the island paradise of Camp Okavango. During your two nights here you will be able to experience guided nature walks, motor boat cruises, and mokoro trails.
After transferring back to the Camp Okavango airstrip, you will fly north, across the Chobe National Park to land close to the Savute Marsh. During your two nights at Savute Safari Lodge you will be able to experience guided 4×4 game drives in search of the many exciting wildlife species found here. Guests can also enjoy a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills – a small hilly outcrop which forms a prominent landmark in the otherwise flat landscape.
Your final scenic flight will take you even further north, to the edge of the Chobe National Park and the banks of the mighty Chobe River. You will land at Kasane Airport and take a road transfer into the Park. Chobe Game Lodge is the only property located within the National Park and has prime access to this wildlife haven. Activities will include guided game drives and motor boat cruises in search of elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, lion, leopard, and many beautiful bird species.
Your safari ends today with a road transfer back to Kasane Airport in time to connect with your onward flight.
