Day 1 – 4

To begin your safari adventure, you will fly from Lusaka to Mfuwe, in the South Luangwa where you will spend four nights at Puku Ridge. Located deep inside the incredible South Luangwa National Park overlooking a private floodplain and watering hole, this remote and elevated landscape is enriched by the rolling gait of giraffe, the heart-shaped nose of the puku, and the midnight whoop of the hyena. The safari experiences and activities of the South Luangwa include incredible walking safaris, photographic opportunities from the new hide at Puku Ridge, and the finest game viewing during both day and night.

Day 5 – 8

Today you will transfer back to Mfuwe and fly onwards to Jeki. From here, transfer to Lolebezi Lodge and spend four nights on the remote and mighty Zambezi River. The Lower Zambezi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has some of the best wildlife sightings in the world. Famous for its leopard population and elephant herds, this amazing destination is best experienced on foot. Walking through the towering acacia forests, searching for Africa’s famous wildlife is simply one of life’s unbeatable adventures. Activities include game drives, walking safaris, river cruises, fishing, and so, so much more!

Day 9 – 10

Fly further down the Zambezi River today, from Jeki to Livingstone and the enigmatic Victoria Falls. Just twenty minutes upstream from Victoria Falls and accessed via the international airports of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe or Livingstone, Zambia Thorntree River Lodge is the perfectly positioned lodge from which to enjoy the cascading spectacle, of the Victoria Falls nearby.  During your two nights here you can visit the Zambian side of the Falls, and perhaps enjoy sunrise or sunset boat trips, a guided canoe excursion (water level and hippo activity dependent), fishing, a Mosi Oa Tunya National park game drive, guided walks or a village visit.

Day 11

You will be transferred back to Livingstone Airport today, in time for your flight out.
