Our Namibia & Botswana Combo itinerary offers a great opportunity for guests to see the best of both countries; the ancient Namib Desert and the haunting Skeleton Coast, followed by the lush wildlife-rich Okavango Delta. The route is designed to tie in with the Eurowings flight between Windhoek and Victoria Falls, and includes two nights on the Zimbabwean side of the Falls enabling guests to explore this regional highlight as well.
You will be met in the arrivals hall of Windhoek Hosea Kutako Airport by an ATI representative who will offer a thorough briefing of your whole holiday and go through your marked map, vouchers, and itinerary with you. Your pilot will meet you here and then escort you to the domestic terminal and through security to your light aircraft. Your flight will be shared with other passengers. Enjoy a beautiful flight over Namibia’s central plateau and the Naukluft Mountains, before landing near the Namib Naukluft National Park close to Sesriem & Sossusvlei. Enjoy two nights here taking part in activities including a guided trip to Sossusvlei, nature drives, guided walks, or quad biking. You may also like to take a unique hot air balloon trip for an additional fee.
Fly from the Sesriem area to the mystical Skeleton Coast today, your flight will be shared with other passengers and you will have comfort stops in Swakopmund and Twyfelfontein. Enjoy the scenic flight over dunes and mountains, towards the coast with seal colonies and remote shipwrecks. You will land at Mowe Bay this afternoon and meet your guide for a +/- 1.5 hour nature drive transfer to the lodge. During your two nights here you will enjoy guided nature drives through ephemeral riverbeds in search of elusive wildlife, quad biking, and maybe a delicious beach lunch if the weather allows!
Climb aboard a plane again today for your flight to Hoanib Valley Camp, deep in the heart of the remote Kunene Region. Your flight will be shared with other passengers. During your two night stay here you will learn about this unique ecosystem during guided game drives, and guided walks. With luck you may spot giraffe, desert adapted elephant, and many other species. This camp works together with Giraffe Conservation Foundation to monitor and record information about this endangered species.
You will have a longer scenic flight today, travelling southwards back to Windhoek where you will land at the Hosea Kutako International Airport. A driver will collect you from here and transfer you the short distance to Omaanda Lodge for your last night in Namibia.
Your travel between Windhoek and Victoria Falls is under your own arrangements and should be included in your international flight ticket. Upon arrival in Victoria Falls you will be met and transferred into town. During your two nights at the beautiful Ilala Lodge you will have the choice of a whole range of activities. Choose to take a guided tour of Victoria Falls, or visit by yourself and linger as long as you like. Dinner cruises on the Zambezi River are very popular, as are helicopter flights over the Falls, or white water rafting, bungi jumping or gorge swinging for the more adventurous visitors!
You will be transferred across the border from Zimbabwe into Botswana today, with experienced drivers on hand to assist with the immigration procedures. From Kasane Airport you will enjoy a scenic flight southwards over Chobe National Park and the Delta, taking you to the island paradise of Camp Okavango. During your two nights here you will be able to experience guided nature walks, motor boat cruises, and mokoro trails.
From Camp Okavango you will enjoy another scenic flight which will take you to Camp Moremi, located in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve. This part of the Delta offers prime wildlife viewing with elephant, lion, leopard, hippo, hyena, and many other species to be found. During your two nights here you will be able to experience guided game drives and motor boat cruises.
Your safari ends today with a final scenic flight from Camp Moremi to Maun, where you will land in time to connect with your onward flight.
