Botswana & Vic Falls Classic, 12 nights

Our Botswana & Vic Falls Classic itinerary starts in Maun, the safari capital of Botswana, and meanders up through the heart of the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, and the magnificent Chobe River before ending with 2 nights in Victoria Falls.  Flying between lodges allows travellers to cover a lot of ground in a relatively short time, and ensures guests can experience the whole range of water and land-based wildlife viewing activities on offer.

Day 1

Today you will land at Maun Airport and be met by your driver for the short journey to Thamalakane Lodge. Relax and enjoy the tranquility of this riverside lodge.

Day 2 – 4

After being transferred back to Maun Airport, you will take an amazing scenic flight across the floodplains and islands of the Delta to land at Moremi Crossing. Here you will spend the next three nights enjoying inclusive activities such as guided bush walks, game drives, mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions, and motor boat cruises.

Day 5 – 7

From Moremi Crossing you will enjoy another scenic flight which will take you to Rra Dinare, located in a  private concession in the southeastern side of the Delta. During your three nights here you will be able to experience guided game drives, night drives, and seasonal guided walks, motor boat cruises, and mokoro trails.

Day 8 – 10

Your final scenic flight takes you a little further afield today, across the Delta and the southern regions of the Chobe National Park. You will land at Kasane Airport and be transferred the short distance to Chobe Safari Lodge, situated on the magnificent Chobe River. From here you will enjoy three days of guided game drives into the Park, and motor boat cruises on the river.

Day 11 – 12

You will be transferred across the border from Botswana into Zimbabwe today, with experienced drivers on hand to assist with the immigration procedures. During your two nights at the beautiful Batonka Lodge you will have the choice of a whole range of activities. Choose to take a guided tour of Victoria Falls, or visit by yourself and linger as long as you like. Dinner cruises on the Zambezi River are very popular, as are helicopter flights over the Falls, or white water rafting, bungi jumping or gorge swinging for the more adventurous visitors!

Day 13
