Elegant Desert Camp

Situated 43km from Sesriem, on the D854 road, and the sister camp to Elegant Desert Lodge, the Elegant Desert Eco Camp is a convenient and relaxed overnight stop close to the famous dunes of the Namib Desert. Facilities at the main lodge include a bar, restaurant, swimming pool, hiking trails, guided Sossusvlei excursions, sundowners and farm trips. The dining area at the lodge caters for excellent farm style meals, and guests from Elegant Desert Eco Camp will enjoy all their meals in this main lodge restaurant. You can also enjoy a Namibian brewed beer while watching the sun go down from the bar or swimming pool. The Eco Camp hosts just ten units, accommodating a total of twenty guests. A floodlit waterhole offers guests a unique outlook over the desert and is the perfect place to enjoy an after-dinner drink.

Standard Tent

Each unit has an extra length king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, solar water heating and power. All beds can be pushed outside onto the 3m x 11m wooden deck, for fantastic star gazing! There are two power outlets in each tent so that guests can charge phones and laptops. A coffee and tea station is provided, as well as bottled water and a mini-bar. Guests have the option of moving their bed out to sleep under the stars.
