Mariana has been with us for years and years! She used to be our weekend cleaner at Rivendell Guest House whilst working during the week for a job agency in town which subsequently closed down. When we sold Rivendell in July 2022 we asked Mariana to come and help us in the office.

She now works fulltime cleaning both the ATI office and David & Charlotte’s home, for which we are very grateful! Mariana always has a bright smile, and her cheerful singing makes the busy office afternoons pass much quicker.

Mariana says:

What are your ‘must have’ travel items? A cellphone.

What meal could you eat everyday? Eggs.

Can you tell us something that most people don’t know about you? I enjoy making dolls and knitting.

How did you get into tourism? After working for David & Charlotte, I got integrated into the tourism industry and have loved every second of it.

What is your favourite Namibian destination and why? Ondangwa – I was born and raised there, plus it’s where my family lives.
