Gwen is a passionate Namibian with a deep love for travel and wildlife, whose career in tourism spans over 15 years, mostly within lodge-based environments. Gwen began her journey at ATI in 2019 as a Guest Liaison, welcoming clients at their accommodations, briefing them on their trips, and ensuring their travel experience was seamless and memorable.

Gwen holds an Advanced Diploma in Travel and Tourism from Lingua College, and plans to further her studies in the near future. Prior to ATI, she spent three years with Natural Selection and has over 15 years of lodge-based experience. Her time in Etosha was unforgettable, offering her first close encounters with the area’s wildlife, including a lioness with her cubs on her doorstep! Every day brought something surreal, from the vast fauna and flora to the unique landscapes. Throughout her career, Gwen has worked with people from many different backgrounds, united by a shared passion for service excellence.

Outside of work, Gwen is an advocate for wellness, with a particular love for spa experiences. Her connection to tourism stems from growing up in Maltahohe, the gateway to the Namib, where visits to family working in lodges sparked her inspiration to pursue a career in travel and tourism.
