Gris-Gris

Close to the southern-most town of Souillac, is the sea cliff of Gris-Gris. This is one of the few tour destinations in Mauritius that is not surrounded by coral reefs and thick waves crash directly onto the cliffs.

The most spectacular part of Gris-gris is the “Roche Qui Pleure” where the constant squashing of waves against the flanks of the cliff gives the impression that the cliff is crying.
