Chevonne says:

How did you get into tourism? I’ve always loved the outdoors and dreamed of escaping the city to experience the peace and beauty of nature. Namibia, with its vast deserts and stunning landscapes, has always drawn me in. I’m passionate about my home country, and pursuing a career in tourism feels like the perfect way to share the tranquility and awe of places like Namibia while being able to experience and learn more about the stunning outdoors of Namibia.

A quote to live by? La Dolce Vita – The sweet life.

What is your favourite Namibian destination and why? Sossusvlei is my favorite destination because of its stunning, otherworldly beauty. The towering red sand dunes, especially Dune 45 and Big Daddy, create a surreal landscape that changes with the light, from deep reds at sunrise to golden hues at sunset. The eerie, dead camelthorn trees in Dead Vlei add to the magic. The vast, quiet desert gives you a sense of peace and adventure, making it the perfect place to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature’s purest form.

What are your ‘must have’ travel items? I see this a little differently but my must have’s when I’m not going solo is good company and the same excitement to explore the area with me . Whether you’re embarking on a solo adventure or traveling with friends or family, the right people and a positive attitude can make all the difference. Laughter and shared experiences can transform even the most challenging moments into lasting memories.
